Cultivated within Volcan Baru National Park, these beans benefit from cool temperatures, high altitudes, and rich volcanic soils that slow ripening to develop exceptional sweetness and complexity. The traditional washed process—hand-picked at peak ripeness, fermented 36-48 hours in mountain air, then slowly dried on raised beds—reveals the purity of this distinctive variety.
