The cherries require careful handling due to volcanic ash that often covers them after eruptions, necessitating thorough washing before depulping at Los Volcanes Coffee's Beneficio La Esperanza facility in Antigua. This Gesha offers subtle aromas and flavors worthy of the variety, grown on a farm that has transformed its production through renovation and innovative management.
