Gasharu Rugori

Gasharu Rugori is a Direct Trade farm coffee from Rwanda, processed at the Gasharu Washing Station in Nyamasheke. Red Bourbon grown up to 2,100 meters undergoes controlled anaerobic fermentation, developing a winey texture with notes of blackcurrant and caramel. The name Rugori references the Urugori Crown—a traditional symbol honoring women—making this Women's Crown Lot a celebration of their central role in processing and quality work, with additional revenue flowing transparently to participating women and their households.
