Mexico Maragogype

Roaster notes

This washed Maragogype comes from small farmers in Edelmira Coffee's network in the highlands of Chiapas, southern Mexico, where farms sit at 1,300–2,000 meters altitude and coffee is grown in shade. The result is a clean, structured interpretation of this large-bean variety that still feels clearly anchored in its Chiapas terroir. In the cup it is super creamy, caramel-sweet and citrusy, with clarity and freshness and a long, syrupy aftertaste—roasted slightly darker to work beautifully as both espresso and filter coffee.
