This coffee comes from the Altos De Chiapas region of Mexico, an area primarily inhabited by Tzeltal Indigenous communities where traditional varieties such as Typica and Bourbon are still cultivated. The high-altitude farms maintain traditional practices with coffee plants grown under the shade and protection of other tree species, promoting biodiversity and resilience for the plant.
